In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Alhamdulillah! By the infinite mercy of Almighty Allah, approximately 75% of the construction work of Madrasatu Abed Miah Al-Islamia has been completed. In sha Allah, upon completion of the project, we aim to establish a full-fledged Residential Islamic Educational Institute and Orphan Care Centre dedicated to serving orphaned and underprivileged children.

Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and faith-based environment where children can grow spiritually, academically, and personally while preparing for a successful future.

Our Vision

To build a compassionate and family-like environment for orphaned, needy, and underprivileged children where they receive quality Islamic education, proper care, moral guidance, and practical life skills that enable them to become confident, self-reliant, and beneficial members of society.

Allah says in the Holy Qur'an:

"And they ask you concerning orphans. Say, 'Improving their condition is best.'"

(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:220)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

"I and the one who takes care of an orphan will be together in Paradise like this."

Then he joined his index and middle fingers together.

(Sahih al-Bukhari)

What We Plan to Offer In Sha Allah

1. Residential Orphanage (Etim Khana)

Our residential orphanage will provide:

• Safe and comfortable accommodation

• Nutritious meals and daily necessities

• Clothing and personal care

• Medical support and healthcare assistance

• Emotional support and family-like care

• Islamic upbringing and moral development

• A secure and loving environment for every child

2. Islamic Education Programmes

Students will benefit from a comprehensive Islamic education including:

Hifzul Qur'an Department

• Complete Qur'an memorisation

• Proper Tajweed and recitation

• Revision and retention programmes

Islamic Studies

• Noorani Qaida for beginners

• Qur'an recitation and Tajweed

• Basic Tafsir studies

• Hadith studies

• Aqeedah (Islamic Creed)

• Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence)

• Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

• Islamic manners and character development

3. Community Education Services

The institution also aims to serve the wider community through:

• Qur'an learning classes for adults

• Qur'an learning classes for elderly learners

• Regular Islamic lectures and educational gatherings

• Ramadan programmes and community events

• Special Islamic seminars and workshops

4. Skills Development & Vocational Training

We believe education should prepare students for both this life and the Hereafter.

After completing their studies, students will have opportunities to receive practical skills training that may include:

• Computer literacy

• Small business and entrepreneurship training

• Handicrafts and vocational skills

• Career and self-development programmes

Our goal is to help students become independent, productive, and responsible members of society.

Free Services for Orphan Children

All services provided to resident orphan children will be completely free of charge, including:

• Accommodation

• Food

• Education

• Learning materials

• Clothing

• Healthcare support

• Skills development opportunities

Current Activities

Alhamdulillah, while the construction of the madrasa is still ongoing, the following educational activities are currently being conducted on a limited scale:

Ongoing Programmes

• Noorani Qaida Classes for young children

• Qur'an Learning Classes for adults and elderly learners

These programmes aim to help members of the local community improve their Qur'an recitation and strengthen their understanding of Islam.

Future Expansion

In sha Allah, upon completion of the construction work, we plan to launch:

• A full Residential Orphanage (Etim Khana)

• Hifzul Qur'an Department

• Comprehensive Islamic Education Programmes

• Community Learning Services

• Skills Development and Vocational Training Programmes

We pray that Allah (SWT) grants success in completing this project and enables it to become a source of benefit for orphan children, students, and the wider community for generations to come.

Foundation History

On 23 February 2024, the foundation stone of Madrasatu Abed Miah Al-Islamia was laid at South Shirkhara Miah Bari, Shirkhara Union, Rajoir, Madaripur, Bangladesh.
